Historians conducted a study of Redoubt #4 on March 29th. They utilized ground penetrating radar to map and survey the site. They are hopeful to find evidence of cannon placements, as well as the timber from the fortification walls. This was a day-long project and non-invasive. They welcomed anyone who wanted to stop by or ask questions about GPR or civil war history. They plan to share their findings with the community at a “discover and learn” event once they evaluate the data.
