Yard Sign Temporary Policy

Due to the unfortunate and unusual circumstances relating to Nashville current events, Abbottsford would like to communicate the following policies and exceptions regarding yard signs within the community until October 2nd, 2023.

Yard signs supporting The Covenant School and/or Covenant Church will continue to be allowed to be displayed on your property on a temporary basis until October 2nd, 2023.

To be supportive of residents who have special achievement or graduation signs, you are permitted to display these on a temporary basis if you have a resident of your home receiving recognition. Please limit graduation sign displays to no more than 4 weeks before and 2 weeks after the graduation date.

Political signs are allowed in Abbottsford only within 60 days of the official election date for that candidate. This is in accordance with TN state law regarding free speech rights and HOAs. Please ensure political signs are located on private property only, not placed on community grounds, and do not exceed 2’x2′.

Open house signage is allowed on the date of your open house only. All open house signage must be placed and removed in the timeframe immediately before and after the open house event and may not be larger than 2’x4′.

Abbottsford management will allow 1 week for residents to assess if their property is in agreement with these temporary rule changes before inspecting neighborhood signage and issuing request for change notifications.

Regular signage rules resume on October 2nd, 2023. Please reach out to the On-site manager if you have any questions. Thank you for your adherence to these rules going forward.
